What is the Maharishi Jyotish program?

The Maharishi Jyotish program, or Maharishi Vedic Astrology, is a precise mathematical science and technology to know past and present and to predict the future. It is based on the understanding “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

Whatever our thoughts, speech, or action—the effects spread in the universe and return to us. The Grahas, or planets, play an essential role in these mechanics. Through calculations on the individual birth chart, the experts in the Maharishi Jyotish program can determine what are the influences from our past action and when they will come.

What are the Grahas, and how do they affect us?

The Grahas, roughly translated as “planets,” are those principles of Natural Law that uphold life. They are part of the administration of Natural Law which governs the whole universe.

According to the research of Professor Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., the Grahas are influences found throughout all of Nature—even in our own physiology. They are our cosmic counterparts. Every Graha has its correspondence in our own brain physiology, in the physiology of every cell, and in the DNA.

How do the Grahas and Rashis relate to our personal life?

We can explain this relationship with the following example: the Rashis are like fields, and our own actions are the seeds that we sow on the fields. The Grahas are the workers in the fields. When the seeds have grown, the Grahas bring the fruits of our actions back to us. This is according to the well-known principle “As you sow so shall you reap.”

For which areas can the expert in the Maharishi Jyotish program give predictions?

The expert in the Maharishi Jyotish program can make predictions for all areas of life: health, wealth, relationships, profession, etc. This is because every area of life is governed by one of the nine Grahas. (If we consider, for example, relationships: Surya, the sun, represents the father; Chandra, the moon, represents the mother; Shukra, Venus, represents the wife; Guru, Jupiter, represents the husband, etc.)

Is the Maharishi Jyotish program difficult to use?

The Vedic seers have brought to light a very simple yet highly precise system of prediction. Because the system is simple, predictions can be made accurately and easily. The time and place of birth are located at a specific point in space and time. In the birth horoscope, called Lagna in Sanskrit, this point is represented by the ascendant. From this point the whole of past, present and future can be unraveled.

How is the timing of events determined? For example, how can the expert in the Maharishi Jyotish program tell when an accident is likely to happen?

There are several methods that the expert in the Maharishi Jyotish program uses to time events. One method is the Dasha system which gives insight into the various influences that we are exposed to at different times in our life. Another method to foresee the quality of time is based on the constant movement of the planets, which is called Gochara (or transit of the planets).

Regarding the possibility of predicting accidents, an unfavorable period can indeed be foreseen, along with its effects on our life.
